ElectriFly is now shipping the first of two versions of this exciting, light-weight jet plane. The ARF includes the plane and the ducted fan unit, with the modeler supplying the motor, ESC, battery, receiver, and servos. The manual recommends my preferred Futaba S3114 micro servos, which you can read about in our Futaba Servo Quick Guide.
Coming towards the end of the year is the RxR version, which stands for receiver-ready. This version will go beyond the ARF and includes the brushless motor, ESC, and servos already installed.
This plane should be a lot of fun for experienced flyers, but too difficult and maneuverable for beginners. Check out ElectriFly's Synapse Product Page to learn more and see movies of the jet in flight.
