The Traxxas Revo has been loved ever since the begining. Being known as one of the most versatile and adaptable trucks on the market, it got to where it was today, that is a truck that holds 6 National Championship tites. Traxxas has now released a 2008 platinum edition of their already great racing truck. Being called simply the Traxxas Revo Platinum Edition, it has over 50 new proven chamionship features, and a whole lot to brag about. Traxxas has to say this about their new production truck:
The 2008 Revo Platinum Edition is designed specifically for the pro racer. We took everything we learned from 6 national championships and packed it all into the most advanced, high-performance racing monster truck ever created. The same forward-thinking technology, high-tech materials, and unsurpassed engineering that continue to set Revo apart from the pack are further magnified on the Revo Platinum Edition. All the exclusive factory team parts and trick setups are integrated into a lean and mean racing chassis that's engineered just for the track. Key enhancements include a larger 150cc fuel tank; strengthened axle housings with 17mm aluminum wheel hub adapters; center differential and rear brakes; innovative new Response Pro tires; larger, high-flow air filter; compact receiver box and servo mount; and powerful, dual digital high-torque steering servos. There are over 50 new features and setups in all.
With a very few amount of the new features being things like Aluminum 17mm Splined Wheel Hub and Hex Nuts, Steel Pivot Ball Retainers, Large High-Volume Dual-Stage Air Filter, Mirror-Polish Resonator Dual-Chamber Aluminum Pipe, Smooth and Durable TiN Shock shafts, Sway Bar Kit Featuring ,Red-Anodized Front Turnbuckles, and many, many, many other things, the newest Traxxas Revo looks like it is about to bring some serious heat to every club track around. Watch out MT racers, there is a new truck on the block!
