TamTech Gear Lamborghini Countach LP500S

This 12th scale car based on the Tam Tech Gear GT-01 on-road chassis will be released for sale in Japan on the 1st of March and will cost 15,540 yen (about $150). It is in kit form with no radio gear or esc. The original LP400S version of this car astounded car fans at the 1971 Geneva Motor show, while this particular model, the LP500S, came out in 1984.

The GT-01 is a light monocoque chassis with a low centre of gravity with independent double wishbone suspension at all four wheels. The body mounts are also contained within the chassis so as not to ruin the look. The 340 motor is adequate for bashing but an option motor is available that will provide true racing speed.
