Earlier I reviewed the R/C Aerial Reconnaissance from the Intel ISEF. A lot of people may wonder what my fascination was with such an amateur product in comparison to the Pilot View FPV 2400, and a look at the price tag of $549.00 may pretty much sum it up. But for the dent it makes in your pocket, it makes up for in fun. The Pilot View lets you turn any mobile* product into a FPV experience.

Hyper 9 Video

Jeremy Kortz gets some time out on the track with his new Hyper 9 this past weekend. Aside from his great driving, the buggy looks to jump extremely well and take corners with the best of them. Without a doubt, the Hyper 9 will be a serious contender in 2008's 1/8 buggy scene. It is rumored that Kortz liked the new buggy so much, he will use it in the upcoming ROAR Nationals. This is Ho Bao's newest buggy and includes many new innovative features such as a tilted engine to improve weight distribution, a super narrow chassis, and improved steering over the Hyper 8 series. Keep an eye out for the Hyper 9 at your local track.

Recently released by HPI, the offcial video for their newest edition to the Savage line-up of trucks, the Savage XL. 55mm longer, and 25mm wider, HPI has created another monster. Here is the new video recorded by HPI, it looks great, has great effects, and is in my personal opinion, one of HPI's best. Take a look, and see if this truck might be the one for you.

I've been doing quite a bit of research on the GWS Slow Stick the last couple of weeks (and I just ordered one on the weekend) and I came across quite a few videos on YouTube featuring it. Most of the videos are taken from cameras mounted on a Slow Stick, but this one's a little different. The guys at Uff-Da/RC hobby club in Mabel, Minnesota had some fun with a bunch of Slow Sticks during one of their indoor flying sessions. Don't try this at home...

Carbon Butterfly RC Plane

My brother sent me a link to a cool RC Plane that weighs only 3.6 grams!. The Carbon Butterfly by Plantraco is a fully controllable RC plane that you can fly in a room no bigger than 12' x 16'.

The kit, which comes with the plane, transmitter, PC connector cable and CD ROM, as well as a cool aluminium carry case to cart it around safely. The CD ROM has a simulator that you can hook the transmitter up to (using the cable) to get some practice in before you attempt to fly this $300 toy around. Although apparently its rather tough:

Tamiya TXT-1 Review

Everything RC Cars have a review of the Tamiya TXT-1 monster truck and say:
