At 31" long the Traxxas Nitro Vee RC Boat is a great size boat for easy sport fun at your local pond. With it's Deep Vee - ocean racing - hull design it looks great and looks like it cuts the chop well as it carves through the water. The Traxxas Nitro Vee is a good sport boat for your introduction into nitro boats. Many are also upgrading this boat as time goes on with other engines and accessories to increase performance. The boat has a some great features to help you easy out onto the water such as the EZ-Start elecric starting system, an in-line clutch for allowing boat to idle and manuever gently near shore and also a patented Return To Shore (RTS) feature which couples a small electric motor to the prop drivetrain so that when you run out of fuel you can easily return the boat to shore - no fishing for the boat or need to have a jon boat handy to retrieve your model. In addition, the boat comes full assembled and ready for action.

Traxxas now has available a new Short Course Race Truck called the Slayer, a 1:10 scale model that brings the excitement of short course truck racing to your local RC dirt track. This model is a “ready-to-race” model as explained by Traxxas and even includes the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine, an exclusive push-button electric starting system and TQ radio system already installed. Being 4WD, this model is extremely capable and fast and Traxxas claims speed of over 50 mph so this is one blazing RC model.

The Slayer has many exciting features to max out the performance of this race truck including, but not limited to: a suspension and chassis system based on the award-winning Revo model, full time 4WD, excellent travel range for the suspension to improve handling through the turns and jumps, a “3D semi-monocoque chassis” originally build for the Revo, and excellent looks provided by a pre-painted body with excellent graphics. The heart of the Traxxas is the blazing fast TRX 3.3 Racing engine. This engine is coupled to a 2-speed transmission which gives you that added acceleration you need on the straights and low-end punch on the turns. There is an optional clutch bell that is needed to achieve the higher speeds but the Slayer performs over 45 mph out of the box. Another New Traxxas Release: E-Revo

Since the release of the Traxxas Revo in 2004, it has dominated at the track because of it's unique F1 style suspension and new chassis design. The Revo also saw a change in 2006, the 3.3 racing engine debuted so Traxxas incorperated it into the new Revo 3.3. The Revo now sees another change- electric!

Traxxas E-Revo

The new E-Revo not only has a new top and electric motors, it also features a new chassis design that puts all the wait lower to the ground, and close to the center of the chassis for better handling and stability. Traxxas has said this is the best handling monser truck they've ever made. Also a great feature to the E-Revo are built in, enclosed battery compartents with air scoops to keep your batteries cool. This truck is completely brushless ready as most of the new cars Traxxas is releasing. The truck is powered by two 550 Titan motors, just like the new E-Maxx. To give it a racier look, Traxxas even includes a black wing. The transmission was designed to keep the weight in the center and lower to the chassis. Other features are listed below.

It seems as though the new E-Revo uses the hard coated GTR shocks with ti-nitride shock shafts. It also appears that it uses hi torque water proof servos found on the new E-Maxx.

Traxxas E-Revo

This truck has been released by popular demand obviously. If it wasn't for the people who wanted an E-Revo, Traxxas wouldn't have made one. This has been talked about by Revo fans since the original Revo, and many prayers have been answered. Traxxas took the E-Revo to RCX which kicked off this weekend and they said the E-Revo will be around the same price as a Revo 3.3. No word on release date.

Not long ago, Team Losi introduced their new Desert Truck. Thunder Tech racing has a CORR (championship off road racing) Pro-2 race truck coming out. Now Traxxas has decided to step into the desert style race truck game. Introducing the Slash. The Slash was made to resemble the full scale Traxxas Pro-2 race truck.

The new Slash wasn't just made to resemble the real thing, but the suspension was also tuned to perform to scale. Some more noticeable things is the sealed radio box, large bumpers, nerf bars, and tires. Some more features include an adjustable battery hold down, new offroad tires, digital waterproof servo, XL-5 speed control, new body mounts to protect the body, and a brushless ready transmission.

Traxxas Releasing New Slash!

To me it looks as if it is a mix between a Stampede and Rustler, because it uses an extended Rustler type chassis and it uses chassis braces, which the Rustler dosen't have. Also, with as much ground clearance as a Stampede, expect the Slash to get over the roughest terrain.

I contacted Traxxas about the Slash and they have set a release date of late May, with a price of about $200-$250. This thing is the buzz on the forums. It is expected to sell well, and people have already been talking about buying them and going brushless. Maybe a new racing class has emerged!

For about ten years, Traxxas has dominated the monster truck market with their T-Maxx series. The truck has seen a lot of changes over the years, and will now see some more!

The new T-Maxx keeps most things from the original platform, like the 3.3 racing engine, the adjustable wheely bar, the 3.3 grey parts, and others. But whats new on this version is beefier chassis braces, a Resonator pipe which increases overall power by 16%, new 6.3 inch tires, digital high torque servo, new bellcrank steering system with integrated servo saver, forward only two speed tranny, high volume two stage air filter, and more.

Traxxas has said this is the biggest and baddest T-Maxx yet. It looks like it is. It has been beefed up, given more power, and also made easier to drive with the new digital servo. It looks cool too! Its been rumoured that Traxxas is making BIG changes this summer, so this must be the start. The new T-Maxx 3.3 should be avalible and if not soon so stay tuned.

The Traxxas Revo has been loved ever since the begining. Being known as one of the most versatile and adaptable trucks on the market, it got to where it was today, that is a truck that holds 6 National Championship tites. Traxxas has now released a 2008 platinum edition of their already great racing truck. The Traxxas Nitro 4 Tec 2.5 has been known for its blistering speeds, handling, and awesome build. With the 2.5 version being such a huge sucess, Traxxas decided to release a 3.3 version of the 4 Tec. With a whopping 60% more horsepower being put out by the 3.3, the Nitro 4 Tec is claimed to reach a astonishing 70+ MPH!!

What's one one of the very first things that you think of when you hear the word Traxxas? Many people's answer to that would be T-Maxx. The traxxas T-Maxx was one of the first great 1/8th scale Monster Trucks, and was truck of the year for several consecutive years. Throughout the years, the T-maxx has evovled dramatically. There was the original .15 Maxx, 2.5 Maxx, the 2.5R Maxx, and now, Traxxas' latest and greatest T-maxx, the 3.3. The new 3.3 Traxxas motor puts out a WHOPPING 60% more horsepower than the older 2.5 mill, which really brings the T-maxx to life. Don't get me wrong, there is a TON more to the Maxx you will love. Traxxas Revo 3.3 Review

The Traxxas Revo has been a shinning star in the RC community since its first debut in the industry, and is well known for its innovative designs. Things like the suspension set up, engine mounting position, and several other things make this truck stand out from the crowd.

The Revo 3.3 includes many great features, one of these is the way the suspension is set up. If you look at the picture above, you see the the shocks are mounted on top of the chassis, which are controlled by two pushrods mounted the the trucks suspension arms. This unique and innovative suspension set up not only gives it 60% more suspension travel than the legendary T-Maxx which was voted Truck of the year several years in a row, but gives it more suspension travel than any other monster truck on the market! Another great feature for racing included on the Revo 3.3 is the way that the engine is mounted. If you look at the picture below you see the the engine is angled in, which makes the truck not only have a lower Center of Gravity, but makes it so the truck handles even better by putting more weight towards the center of the chassis and off of the wheels.

As you can see, their is a noticeable improvement from the earlier 2.5 model of the Revo. A few things that Traxxas have to say about their 3.3 model is:

There’s also a wide-ratio two-speed inside the transmission that takes full advantage of the TRX 3.3’s massive power curve for top speeds beyond 45mph! For the hardcore racer, Revo 3.3 has been designed to use the new Traxx as Revo center differential and rear brake kit (sold separately). On or off the track, Revo 3.3 is simply the ultimate, most-powerful machine for jaw-dropping handling and speed.

The Revo 3.3 is a great truck, although I do belive for whats included, it is a little over priced. You can expect to find the Revo 3.3 at most places for a price in the range of about $450-$500, but there are still several things you will need to buy to make this truck ready to go. You will require:

10%-20% Nitro Fuel - (Easily about $25)

8AA Radio batteries - (Depending on brand, usually about $10)

7.2v Battery for EZ-Starter - (For a decent battery, your looking at about $20)

Pit Equipment (Fuel bottle, glow ignitor, etc) - ( Around $20)

As you can see, you are probably going to be spending around $600, which for alot of RC enthusiasts is a lot to drop on a truck. Although, it may be worth the price to some. Would I personally buy it? Not at that price.

I myself have seen quite a few Revo 3.3's, I have raced with them, and I have bashed with them. All in all, I think it is a pretty good truck. They can take a good beating, but if you push them too hard, parts will start to break. Although on the plus side, you can be almost positive that you will be dominating the monster truck class at the race track. These things once tuned in correctly are stupid fast, and even with the stock suspension set ups they do awesome through the bends on even the windiest tracks. They have the handling of a buggy, yet the same get up and go power of a monster truck. Anyone who buys this vehicle should be quite content!!!
