Team Losi is well known for making popular 1/10th scale vehicles. Some of those vehicles are the XXX-NT, XXX-T, and now, the all new, Team Losi 1/10th scale Speed-T. The Speed -T is equipped with a brushless system right out of the box, and is sure to become a big hit. The also fairly new Losi XCelorin brushless system included with the kit includes the high-speed 4800KV Motor, and a programmable ESC that includes a Quick Programming Card with selectable ESC settings that are preprogrammed for your convenience. Some other great features included with the Speed-T are things like a high-torque digital steering servo, a wheelie bar to handle the tire shredding torque, EC3 Low Resistant battery power connectors, and a low chassis design to ensure the best handling.
Losi is very excited about the release of this new vehicle, and know it will please anyone who purchases it. Here is what Losi says about their Speed-T:
"Bring the heat up and down your street with Losi's fastest electric RTR ever, the Speed-T. Based on a proven, durable chassis designed for brushless systems and an ultimately agile suspension setup, the Speed-T has the foundation to handle serious acceleration unlike any other RC truck. The Speed-T is the only choice for serious drivers in need of serious speed."

Additional Photos can be seen here: http://www.losi.com/Products/ProudctGallery.aspx?ProdID=LOSB0101
The Speed-T looks promising. With claimed speeds of 65mph+ and features like the stock 2.4GHz DSM radio, the Speed-T should do great!

would it be possible to convert a 1/10 speed t to a 1/10 desert truck?if the platform is bassically the same couldnt i just the shock tower's,get the roll cage from the desert truck and maybe some suspension parts.then i know the spur gear keeps striping out so i figured i can take the diff out of the desert truck and put it in the speed t since its stronger then the speed t's.its an idea ive been playin with.it would give me the speed of a speed t with the ruggedness of a desert truck.a pretty good combo if u ask me.

1ST: You will need a BETTER tranny set up to go Off Roading!
Either replace Speed T tranny gears for Robinson Racing(RRP 9402,RRP9404+ 3/32 Carbide Diff balls) or swap out a Desert Truck tranny innards.
2ND: you will need longer shocks and Shock towers from a XXX-T
3RD: change wheels to the Losi Smashers
4TH: GO HAVE FUN!!!

I too have been wanting to do this, for 20 bucks more, the brushless is way worth it, but i think the DT is so sexy and beastly so i think that it would be great if you could easily convert the speed-t to the DT.

Can you do a 4wd conversion to the Speed T. Is it posible as the battery is in the middle.

Don't bother!
The Speed T was set up to be LITE WEIGHT!
Changing the front to incorporate a Diff, plus add a driveline,Center diff and NEW rear diff would be TOO expensive and make the geometry of the Speed T all wrong.
Purchase a Kyosho VE RTR brushless 1/8 scale 4wheel drive instead! $369 on eBay

i'm just wondering if it can actually handle off road... cuz the tires look like they would be slipping everywhere on the dirt... + the truck is low to the ground
