What's one one of the very first things that you think of when you hear the word Traxxas? Many people's answer to that would be T-Maxx. The traxxas T-Maxx was one of the first great 1/8th scale Monster Trucks, and was truck of the year for several consecutive years. Throughout the years, the T-maxx has evovled dramatically. There was the original .15 Maxx, 2.5 Maxx, the 2.5R Maxx, and now, Traxxas' latest and greatest T-maxx, the 3.3. The new 3.3 Traxxas motor puts out a WHOPPING 60% more horsepower than the older 2.5 mill, which really brings the T-maxx to life. Don't get me wrong, there is a TON more to the Maxx you will love. Here are the specs of the 3.3.

Here are some Photos of the awesome looking 3.3.
As you can surely see, this thing looks quite killer! I myself have never been very particular to T-maxx'es, and I have heard that this one is really stepping up the bar. Although, I have heard some pretty nasty rumors that they can be quite fragile at times. I myself cannot say considering I honestly don't know anyone with one, and I have never driven one. Here is what Traxxas has to say about their 3.3 Maxx.
The T-Maxx® is legendary for providing the perfect balance of size, speed, power, and agility. With the new T-Maxx 3.3, we’ve turned that balance upside down with mind-boggling, over-the-top horsepower. Chances are you’ve never driven anything like this before. Just how powerful is the new T-Maxx 3.3? The wheelie bar is mandatory installed equipment! The TRX 3.3 delivers brutal bottom-end torque for amazing wheel-standing launches, along with hard-charging acceleration that is second to none. Hammer the throttle at any speed and the T-Maxx responds like a caged animal that’s been unleashed for destruction. Top speeds soar past 45mph! The T-Maxx 3.3 is without question the most powerful T-Maxx ever made!
Overall, I believe that the Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 is a hit monster truck. Im sure that some of the rumors that go around are because of people's lack of driving skills, and some of it is probably true. Although, the good drastically outweighs the bad in this situation. If you find yourself wanting a affordable, versatile Monster Truck, the T-Maxx 3.3 could just be the Rig for you!!
